The Tucker EndowmentIn addition to membership dues, donors may also make a special contribution to support the Norfolk Historical Society's education, restoration, and preservation programs.
As a permanent endowment, the George Holbert Tucker Endowment will provide an ongoing source of revenue to support the costs associated with running the contest (award prizes and trophies, printing expenses, etc.). As the Tucker Endowment grows, this fund will also allow the Norfolk Historical Society to underwrite other educational programs that will pay tribute to a writer and scholar who has done so much to advance the study of Norfolk's history.
